I don’t usually get excited about computer games. But Stalker 2 is something to behold. Despite years of adversity with the advent of the Ukraine war and the pandemic, Ukrainian GSC Game World developers have somehow finally completed the sequel to the award-winning PC game, Stalker.

I was a big fan of the original FPS post apocalyptic game with its dark war expansion of Andrei Tarkovsky’s incredible 1979 film of the same name where you must survive in the mysterious and deadly Chornobyl Exclusion Zone. There you will encounter fellow stalkers, fight mutants and combat soliders in a world of strange anomalies where everything and noone is what they seem.
